Magnetic slim

1-Why is this experience or invention useful? What is it usefulness?
This invention is useful because it allows us to see the reaction between the metallic slime and the magnet.
2- What are the materials or products used?
You need a bowl, a glue of Elmer's or other glue, of water to clean the glue, the powder of borax, a spoon to take the Borax, a jar to mix the powder borax (he must be very dissolved if you have no powder of Borax we can use a cleaner or a bottle of starch liquid (we can verify the ingredients to see if they contain some borax), of magnetite so that the slime become magnetic.
3-What do you have to do to achieve the experience?                                                                                  Can you describe precisely the different steps to achieve the experience or the invention?
To start we take an Elmer's glue or another glue; we remove the cap, for the glue in the bowl. You fill the bottle with half the water, screw the cap back and shake to clean the inside of the bottle, then pour the contents into the bowl. We need a pack of Borax powder, take a tablespoon and mix in a small jug until it dissolves. You mix the glue and pour a small amount of Borax solution, you do not need much, better not enough than too much, keep mixing with your spoon and you should see how it changes and It becomes very viscous, keep mixing and after a while you can use your hands to mix continuously and you should have a slime ball that is stretchy and slimy. To make it magnetic it is necessary to use magnetite, pour on the slime and work it gently in the mixture, I add a little more, and I really mass into the paste. You have to be careful that there is no magnetite pocket after you should have light gray slime and after you approach a magnet and the slime reacts to the contact of the magnet and you can move it. The experiment is over.

4-What are the various difficulties met to achieve the experiment?
The difficulties are we haven’t got borax en powder and magnetite we didn’t can make experience.
5-In which fields can we use this experiment? (Industry, medical field, sports field, environment, everyday life …).
This experiment is in the field of chemistry because the slime reacts to magnetism.
6-Explain the reasons why you chose this experiment and why it appealed to you?

We chose this experience because we wanted to see how the mud reacted and they gave us a lot of unexpected know ledge because it was surprising and unexpected knowledge because it was surprising and unexpected to see the result.
